Travel in the comfort of your coach around the base of Uluru with your Driver Guide who will provide details on its incredible history. You’ll be fascinated by the Aboriginal stories that go back many thousands of years. Learn the significance of ancient Aboriginal rock art, about the area’s flora and fauna, and culture of its traditional owners, the Anangu. Your day concludes with a spectacular sunset at Uluru.

Visit Uluṟu – Kata Tjuṯa Cultural Centre – Where there is time to purchase some locally made Aboriginal art and learn more about the Western Desert region.

Travel around the base of Uluru with a local Driver Guide – Learn about the native flora, fauna and intriguing cultural traditions of traditional owners, the Anangu, and discover an array of fascinating sacred sites. Join your Driver Guide for a walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole. You’ll explore a number of caves and view Aboriginal rock paintings as your Guide interprets their meaning and significance.

Travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area, ‘Sunset Strip’ – Relax with a glass of wine and Nibbles as the sun sets over the western horizon and the evening sky brings out the many shades of colour for which Uluru is renowned.

BBQ Dinner – After sunset, continue to our exclusive venue for an exclusive Barbecue Dinner, with Uluru as your stunning backdrop. Relax in the company of friends and fellow travellers and enjoy a variety of Australian meats and salads, accompanied by a glass of wine, beer or orange juice (menus are subject to change). After dinner, tea, coffee and dessert will be served. There’s time for stargazing too

Please Note: If you are arriving via a Red Centre Connection or Flight, you may not have time to check into your hotel room before your afternoon tour departure time. Please have a Day Pack ready to go which includes the following items – Appropriate walking shoes, hat, sunscreen, warm jacket during the cooler months & a minimum of 1 liter of water.

  • You will choose your hotel pick-up information during the booking process. If your hotel is not specified in the dropdown, the provider does not receive from your hotel and you must contact the provider to provide the correct alternative.
  • Our tours accept wheelchair passengers, who are assisted by a professional escort and do not allow the provider to support them in loading and disembarking a bus. When in service, wheelchairs are placed in the cab. If you travel with a wheelchair, you need to contact the provider for your wheelchair accommodation at least 72 hours prior to departure.
  • Infants must sit on laps
  • If travelling with a child needing a stroller, you will notify the supplier at least 72hrs before departure.
  • A minimum number of travellers is necessary to this experience. If cancelled since the target is not reached, a new date / experience or complete refund would be given.
