Our premium small group wine tasting tour offers you the perfect opportunity to experience the exquisite and stunning wineries in the Barossa Valley region. The day starts off at Château Yaldara: home to what is undoubtedly some of the finest shirazes as well as magnificent and well-preserved period architecture.

From Chateau Yaldara we drive through the picturesque vineyards of the Barossa Valley, and crossing Jacob’s Creek. The tour then arrives at the historic township of Tanunda where there’s time to wander up the high street and explore the quaint little shops or enjoy a coffee. As one of the best getaways in Adelaide, our next stop is the renowned Peter Lehmann winery. There our group will enjoy an exclusive structured wine tasting hosted in the beautiful Eight Songs room within their cellar door. Here you’ll be given the opportunity to sample some of the Barossa’s internationally acclaimed vintages. Peter Lehmann’s is also our venue for lunch, where you will be treated to an exquisite Weighbridge platter of cheeses, olives, the region’s finest meats and assorted vegetables accompanied by freshly baked bread (don’t worry we also have options for those who are vegetarian).

When lunch is over, the tour heads to our next cellar door and home to the world’s oldest growing Shiraz vineyard, Langmeil. The Langmeil Winery is one of the region’s most aesthetically appealing wineries, so keep your camera handy when you walk past the gnarled Shiraz vines of 170 years before landing at the ancient cellar door to taste your pick of the finest Adelaide wineries have to offer.

We will then travel to our final taste of wine-tasting for the day, Lindsay Wines. On the road, from Mengler’s Hill Lookout, we take in the spectacular panoramic views of the Barossa. You will be treated to a wonderful experience at Lindsay Wines with a blend of craft, wine and music. Learn about the interesting past of the winery as music plays in the background from the staff’s own old vinyl albums.

The day finishes with a visit in the breathtaking area of Seppeltsfield and another great picture opportunity before we eventually return to Adelaide.
