The best beach skydive on the Gold Coast! Skydiving is widely regarded as the ultimate excitement, and with good reason. It’s the big daddy, the thrill and adventure that all others are measured against. Surprisingly, the rush of free fall is a simple and safe experience, especially when tandem skydiving.
There are no additional fees to pay on the day! The levy levied by the Australian Parachute Federation is included in the pricing.
On the ground, you’ll be outfitted in skydiving gear and run through a few “dirt dives” – practise skydiving exits – with your professional skydiving instructors. You’ll also learn the fundamentals of canopy control and safe landing techniques when skydiving. Following you’ve gained confidence in your skydiving skills, take a 20-minute flight to an altitude of roughly 12,000 feet, where, after a last check, it’s time to jump out and take the quick way down – right onto the beach!
The beauty of tandem skydiving is that it doesn’t require any of the typical intense skydiving training while yet providing 100% of the mind-blowing, 200km/hr open-air thrill. As you hurtle 7,500 feet into the sky in 45 seconds, the sensation is commonly described as floating on a cushion of air. At roughly 4,500 feet, the skydiving parachute is deployed, providing an immensely peaceful sensation and one of the world’s best views – ideal for meditating on your high-adrenaline skydiving trip. You’ll be trained to manage your direction and descent speed during the five-minute glide to earth, and once you touch down, you’ll be on a high for weeks — guaranteed.
