Eco Marine Safari – Boom netting & Snorkeling Moreton Island – Self Drive - 1 Day

Snorkeling Moreton Island
Come back here TO BOOK !

Begin your day with the check-in on the boat at 8:00 am at the Newport Marina with tea and cake. Newport Marina parking is free.

The ship leaves the marina to Moreton Island, where you can enjoy a 55minute cruise if there are dolphins or whales on the road.

When we hit the water for an action packed boom-netting journey, you should be confident and dressed in your wet suit.

Take your snorkelling equipment to the wrecks of Tangalooma where you can begin an optional approx. 1 hour of Supervised Snorkeling and Fish Feeding.

“Please note you MUST be able to swim to participate in this activity and it’s $20 extra per person payable on the day. Due to Queensland Workplace Health and Safety Legislation and Risk Assessments, we are unable to allow patrons to snorkel alone at the Tangalooma Wrecks whilst on the cruise.”

On Moreton Iceland, you will have the chance, then, to enjoy free time swimming at the beach, sunbathing and climb the popular sand hills, returning on a boat for a nice, nutritious lunch of local crawns, leg ham, fruit, bread rolls and roast-chicken.

So you will be able to go to the restaurant, drink a cold beer and lounge on the beach and the yacht and enjoy your lunch in a picturesque atmosphere.

In the afternoon the comfortable Eco Marine Safari begins, navigating the quiet, shallow seas with Whales, Dugongs, Turtles and other nearby marine life. Carry something away from you as you know the entire history of the island, coastal marine life and environment from the entire commentary.

At around 4:00pm, the boat will go back to Newport Marina.

Dolphin Wild Island Cruises is an Australian independent local family-owned company with a 100 percent health track record, which runs Underwater Eco Cruises for over 30 years.

You MUST be able to take part in the Fish and Snorkeling Guided Feeding Experience. Snorkeling and boom netting are possible dangerous sports, so you have opted to include the Master if you are healthy enough to engage in these sports based on health and fitness records.
